This unique loft-style 2 bedroom + study apartment was purchased by an expat client of ours for herself and her son.
We were brought in to furnish the space from scratch, guided by our chic client’s eclectic personality and penchant for an oriental aesthetic. With the beautiful interior design layout and finishes by renowned Hecker Guthrie, this project was a pleasure to bring to life!
We introduced a heavy curved sofa in a soft bouclé fabric to frame the living space and provide ample circulation for the adjacent dining. Smaller layered coffee tables add functionality whilst also allowing movement within the space, with a textural monochromatic rug adding depth. Our client couldn’t decide whether to invest in a hero armchair by Ligne Roset, so in this instance we were able to explore 2 separate occasional chair options for her, with her of course settling on the investment in the end!
The heavy round dining table in limestone sets an eclectic tone for the space, complemented by the more traditional Hamptons-style dining chairs in black with piping. The outdoor space was kept simple, anchored by the wooden block coffee table and lifted by the airiness of the selected outdoor chairs.
